Not only has Xabi Alonso written records with Leverkusen, but the attention is also drawn to him as he enjoys an eternal honeymoon with his wife, the universally admired Nagore Aranburu.
With a 2-1 victory over Mainz in last week’s early fixture of Bundesliga 2023/24, Xabi Alonso has led Leverkusen through their 33rd consecutive unbeaten match across all competitions: winning 29 and drawing 4. Additionally, Leverkusen has shattered the record previously held by Bayern Munich (32 consecutive unbeaten matches) to become the team with the best unbeaten record in German football history. Moreover, Leverkusen continues to soar atop the Bundesliga standings.
Specifically, Leverkusen currently reigns at the top of the Bundesliga table for the 2023/24 season with 61 points accumulated after 23 matches. Remarkably, Leverkusen holds an 8-point lead over their archrivals Bayern. This clearly demonstrates the advantage that Xabi Alonso’s team has gained in terms of points over the “Bavarian Giants” in the race for this season’s Bundesliga title.
Not only flourishing in his professional endeavors, but Xabi Alonso also appears to be relishing an eternal honeymoon with his beautiful wife Nagore Aranburu. Most recently, Nagore posted an incredibly romantic message on Instagram to express her deep affection for Alonso. It’s worth noting that Leverkusen’s 2-1 victory against Mainz took place last Friday (local time in Germany). Therefore, the young Spanish coach Alonso was able to spend time with his wife and family during the remainder of the weekend.
This is undoubtedly a sweet and blissful time for Alonso alongside his beautiful wife Nagore Aranburu amidst the relentless schedule of matches. No wonder Alonso didn’t hesitate to post an incredibly romantic message on Instagram for Nagore: “I wish all the games were on Friday nights and I have you on Saturdays and Sundays with me .” Nagore Aranburu’s romantic words are a testament to the beautiful time they are experiencing in Germany.
Nagore Aranburu and Xabi Alonso have settled in Germany since the former Liverpool and Real Madrid star was appointed as the coach of Leverkusen. They moved here to live with their three teenage children: Jon, Ane, and Emma, the youngest born in 2013. The 1979-born beauty originally worked as a model and has accompanied Alonso to every place he has played: Liverpool, Madrid, Munich, San Sebastian, and now Dusseldorf. Xavi Alonso and his family live discreetly and often do not appear at parties or on the red carpet at any event.
