Liverpool and England star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been continuously harassed by a female fan for the past year.
Alexander-Arnold has had to hire security guards and private detectives to handle the situation. The English star has also had to change his mobile phone number, install surveillance cameras and alarm systems, and monitor his posts after receiving obscene letters and documents.
The woman has appeared at his home, Liverpool’s training ground, and Trent’s favorite restaurants. As a result, the 26-year-old defender has been advised not to post any of his actions on social media.
Members of his family have also been attacked with vile messages. This shocking news comes a day before Liverpool faces Chelsea at Wembley in the final of the English League Cup.
Anfield’s team has been warned about the situation and is providing “full support” to the player. A close source said:
“This has been more than a year of hell for Trent.
“This woman has terrorised him and his family, bombarding him with explicit messages, getting hold of his number and calling him endlessly and sending unhinged letters and obscene materials to his Cheshire home”
“It’s been a truly concerning time, and Trent has tried his best not to let it affect his performance on the field,” the source added.
It is unclear whether the police have been alerted to the issue, but four months ago Trent narrowly escaped death in a car accident near Knutsford.
