Milan’s negotiations with Francesco Camarda regarding his inaugural professional contract remain unsettled, as confirmed by transfer expert Matteo Moretto. Despite Camarda’s recent attainment of 16 years of age, making him eligible to ink his first professional deal with Serie A powerhouse Milan, an accord between the Rossoneri and the striker’s representative is yet to be reached.
According to Moretto, speaking to Caught Offside, “as of today, there is still no agreement between Milan and Camarda.” While discussions are set to persist over the coming weeks, it remains premature to ascertain Camarda’s destination for the forthcoming season.
The promising Italian forward achieved a notable feat in November 2023, becoming the youngest debutant in Serie A history during a match against Fiorentina at San Siro. Notwithstanding his youth, Camarda has demonstrated prowess on the field, tallying two senior appearances and amassing an impressive record of 12 goals in 30 outings with Milan’s Primavera squad (U19) this season.
Amidst Camarda’s burgeoning talent, numerous elite European clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal, have expressed interest in the 16-year-old striker. Furthermore, Serie A outfits Inter, Milan, and Roma have reportedly engaged with Camarda’s agent, Beppe Riso, a figure renowned for representing talents such as Sandro Tonali.
