Tottenham are making preparations for the upcoming season by prioritizing the signing of Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and a new striker.
As part of their plans, they intend to accept an offer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, as both the player and the club are reportedly willing to part ways.
It is expected that Spurs will agree to an appropriate bid for the midfielder, who came close to leaving last summer but was unable to do so due to injuries and failed deals.
Despite expressing his dissatisfaction with his lack of game time, Hojbjerg has been giving his all during training. Although there was significant interest from Serie A clubs, such as Juventus, during the January transfer window, a move to Turin fell through due to Tottenham’s loan fee demands.
With Hojbjerg’s contract set to expire in 2025, the club is eager to offload him and receive a transfer fee. This season, the Denmark international has only started six league matches, as manager Ange Postecoglou has preferred a midfield duo of Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr.
However, Hojbjerg has still been regularly utilized, making 30 appearances in all competitions, albeit mostly as a substitute.
