Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has voiced his frustration over his limited involvement in the team under manager Ange Postecoglou this season.
Despite being a regular presence at the North London club since his transfer from Southampton in 2020, the 28-year-old has seen a significant reduction in his playing time during the current campaign.
Hojbjerg, who is a key figure for Denmark, has featured in most games for Spurs this season but has accumulated less than 1,200 minutes of game time from 30 appearances, with only six league starts to his name.
While still being called up to represent Denmark, where he recently celebrated his 75th appearance against the Faroe Islands, Hojbjerg expressed his dissatisfaction with his situation at Tottenham following their 2-0 victory, in which he also found the back of the net.
The Danish midfielder’s remarks highlight the need for clarity from Postecoglou regarding his selection decisions and provide insight into the challenges Hojbjerg faces in regaining a regular starting role at Spurs.
