Deco and his Disturbing Sexual Preferences
Deco has always appeared refined, sophisticated, and elegant on the outside. Even during his playing days, and now as he often dons luxurious suits, Barcelona’s sporting director exudes an overwhelming aura of sophistication. However, Deco is merely “good on the surface.” Hidden beneath the facade of this former star lies a truly repulsive world.
During his time at Barcelona, much was said about Ronaldinho’s romantic escapades. That was because the former Brazilian star was quite indiscreet. But Deco’s level of indiscretion was even higher than Ronaldinho’s. The former Portuguese international frequently indulged in liaisons with women of ill repute, yet he was rarely caught.
Many Barcelona fans surely remember. Immediately after being appointed as Barcelona’s head coach in the summer of 2008, Pep Guardiola’s first act was to oust Deco from Camp Nou. The Portuguese international had to hastily pack his bags and head to England to reunite with his former mentor, Jose Mourinho, at Chelsea. About a month later, it was Ronaldinho’s turn to be shipped off to Milan by Pep.
For those who didn’t understand the inner workings of Barcelona at that time, they might have thought that Pep was a dictator and that was how he asserted his authority. But listen to the revelation from former security guard Daniel Rojo of the Catalan team: “I took on the job at Barca in 2006. My main task was to watch over some of the stars when they were intoxicated, so that when they were unable to drive or lost control of their behavior, I would protect them and drive them home.”
Rojo continued: “Ronaldinho and Deco often organized parties, indulging in late-night revelries at bars. That’s why Barcelona’s performance declined towards the end of Frank Rijkaard’s tenure. Once, I even caught a Barcelona player (later revealed to be Deco) receiving…oral services from two waitresses in the VIP area of a bar.” According to Rojo, Pep Guardiola hastily got rid of Deco, and later Ronaldinho, from Camp Nou because he feared they would soon infect Messi with their bad habits.
The scandals involving Deco’s womanizing were countless. At its peak, during a visit to London in early 2007, to prepare for a friendly match between the Portuguese national team and the Brazilian national team at Emirates Stadium, the Barcelona star did something outrageous. Overnight, Deco’s name and scandalous images flooded the newspapers in the land of the fog.
Specifically, after a 2-0 victory, Deco and seven teammates celebrated extravagantly at Beauchamp Palace. They indulged in heavy drinking and afterwards felt a strong urge for sexual activity. Deco then used his connections in London’s nightlife to find women. By late night, four prostitutes were arranged to join the party, consisting of three blondes and one Asian woman. The price for each woman was £1,000 per night. Deco naturally agreed to engage in the “pay for play” game.
Interestingly, Deco immediately took three of the women with him, leaving only one for his teammates along with the madam’s phone number for them to arrange further encounters. They got into a car and sped to a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, Deco was too intoxicated to perform safely this time, and he neglected to use protection. The scene between him and the three prostitutes was leaked and published by “News of the World” the very next day.
Deco had no knowledge that the hotel he visited was fitted with hidden cameras by criminals. Thus, his escapade was secretly and comprehensively recorded. A journalist who watched Deco’s “pay for play” session from start to finish shared: “He behaved like a wild animal in bed. They engaged in many sickening acts during intercourse, which I cannot describe. It was disgustingly extreme and far beyond what anyone could imagine.”
Later on, perhaps feeling that “some” with three prostitutes wasn’t wild enough, Deco called his teammates for backup. Shortly after, several more female friends of the Portuguese star (accompanied by a few beautiful young women) appeared at the hotel. After the door to the room was shut, they quickly shed their clothes to engage in a group escapade.
Close-up footage captured Deco being served like a king. He sat on a chair, legs apart, while one prostitute serviced him orally. Beside him, two other women caressed and fondled his body. Then, they moved the “action” to the bed. First, it was one-on-one, and at the end, four men engaged in a “free-for-all” with one woman.
Before this incident was exposed, Deco always portrayed himself as ethical. The “father of three” once appeared on television speaking in a falsely moral tone: “The culture in Spain and England is different. Here, we drink and go to bars, but we’re in control. We don’t delve deep into ourselves and engage in carnal pleasures after drinking like what the Liverpool players just did.” After the “group play” scandal, Deco became the subject of ridicule and was dubbed the “hypocrite.”
