Frenkie de Jong has concluded his season at Barcelona due to injury, yet he remains optimistic about representing the Netherlands in Euro 2024.

De Jong expressed his frustration with his fitness issues prior to facing Real Madrid: “I have been dealing with injuries throughout this season. An incident at the start of the season caused discomfort in my ankle for an extended period. The injury in March was another setback.”
