Neymar will be unable to utilize his £10 million helicopter due to an expired license. The Certificate of Airworthiness (CVA) for Neymar’s helicopter has expired. Consequently, the Brazilian star will temporarily be unable to operate this helicopter until the certification is renewed. The CVA has a validity period of 3 years. The helicopter is currently stored in Brazil. Neymar used it in Paris while playing for PSG. The forward had customized the £10 million Mercedes helicopter, adding a Batman logo and leather seats for ten, among other alterations. The aircraft’s fuselage also bears the inscription “NJR” – his initials. This Mercedes helicopter model weighs 3.7 tons, features two turbine engines, and is capable of night flying. Neymar acquired the helicopter in 2019. Previously, the superstar owned two other helicopters, including a Cessna C with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers.
Neymar is a highly affluent player, with a collection of luxury cars and helicopters. He boasts a net worth of approximately £250 million, further augmented by his contract with Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal last summer. In addition to his £2.5 million-per-week contract, Neymar received gifts of eight cars, including a Bentley Continental GP, Aston Martin DBX, and Lamborghini Huracan. However, just three months into his tenure with the new team, having played five matches, he suffered a severe injury and is facing an extended period of absence from competition. This injury may preclude Neymar from joining the Brazilian national team at the Copa America 2024, scheduled to take place in the United States this summer. Early August is anticipated as the timeframe for his potential return to the field.
