Transfer specialist Matteo Moretto asserts that despite recent speculation from Italian media linking Napoli’s star striker Victor Osimhen to PSG, the Premier League stands as the most probable destination for the player.
Osimhen is poised to become one of the focal points of the upcoming summer transfer window, with Napoli open to selling the Nigerian international, who carries a release clause ranging between €120m-€130m.
While recent reports in Italy have hinted at Osimhen’s potential move to PSG as a successor to Kylian Mbappé, Moretto, an expert in football transfers for Football Italia, clarified to Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing that the Premier League holds stronger prospects for Osimhen’s next destination.
Moretto explicitly stated that PSG was not within his scope of potential destinations for Osimhen, emphasizing the French club’s reliance on Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos.
Conversely, Moretto expressed confidence that Premier League clubs are closely monitoring Osimhen’s situation and are primed to make significant moves for his acquisition during the forthcoming transfer window.
