Kephren Thuram, sibling to Inter’s forward Marcus Thuram, has recently altered his representation, amid speculations linking him to a potential move to Serie A, particularly with Milan. However, as per insights from Football Italia’s transfer specialist Matteo Moretto, official discussions are yet to commence.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport earlier this week indicate Milan’s interest in securing the services of Kephren Thuram, a midfielder currently plying his trade with OGC Nice in Ligue 1. Nonetheless, negotiations for his acquisition are anticipated to entail a transfer fee surpassing €40 million.
Matteo Moretto, in his capacity as a transfer expert, acknowledges Kephren Thuram’s inclination toward embracing a fresh challenge beyond Ligue 1. Nevertheless, he underscores the absence of formal dialogues with any club, attributable to the recent change in the player’s representation.
Presently, Kephren Thuram is under the management of Sport Cover, the same agency representing his brother, and the entity instrumental in orchestrating Marcus’s transfer from Borussia Moenchengladbach to Inter last summer, devoid of a transfer fee.
Besides the Thuram siblings, Sport Cover’s clientele includes coaches Franesco Farioli and Patrick Vieira.
While Milan’s interest in the 23-year-old midfielder persists, concrete negotiations are likely deferred to a subsequent juncture.
