Despite achieving limited success in his athletic career, former Chelsea star Mateja Kezman has shown remarkable aptitude in the field of business.
Mateja Kezman was brought to Chelsea by coach Jose Mourinho in 2004 from PSV. He endured a challenging first season, scoring only 7 goals in 41 matches. Kezman was not given further opportunities to demonstrate his abilities and was subsequently transferred to Atletico Madrid in 2005. In La Liga, he managed to score only 10 goals in that season before being transferred to Fenerbahce after just one year.
During his time in Turkey, the Serbian forward regained his form and scored 30 goals in 69 matches. As a result, he caught the attention of PSG and joined the French capital in 2009. However, Kezman failed to make an impact in France and subsequently journeyed to Russia, Hong Kong (China), and Belarus before retiring in 2012.
Although his playing career lacked prominence, Kezman proved to be adept in business. He owns the exquisite Kezman Mountain Houses resort in the mountainous region of Serbia. Surrounded by pristine mountains, it offers a serene retreat, ideal for recuperation after a day of skiing. The Kezman resort also provides spa services and healthcare therapies.
It is Serbia’s first resort to offer a unique outdoor spa experience amidst the wild nature. Guests can immerse themselves in the outdoor pool during summer, while winter offers hot tubs, Jacuzzis, and outdoor steam rooms.
In addition to year-round hot tub and sauna services, Kezman Mountain Houses offers various accommodations, including different segments of rooms and villas, with prices around £300 per night. The resort also provides hiking and electric bike tours in summer or skiing activities in winter.
With its mountainous scenery, spacious environment, and numerous amenities, Kezman Mountain Houses is the perfect choice for winter in Serbia, inviting travelers from around the world to experience the tranquility and beauty of Kopaonik.
