AC Milan has shown interest in acquiring Sofyan Amrabat, the midfielder from Fiorentina who is currently on loan at Manchester United (according to Tuttosport).
The Rossoneri’s leadership is reportedly planning to secure the services of the seasoned midfielder as a crucial element in their defensive tactics for the upcoming summer transfer window. The 27-year-old Moroccan player is said to be one of their top priorities.
It has been mentioned that Manchester United holds the option to purchase the player, but they are not looking to exercise this right at the moment due to Amrabat’s underwhelming performances in the English Premier League.
Amrabat’s existing contract with Fiorentina runs until June 30, 2025, with an annual salary of two million euros. His market value, as per Transfermarkt data, is estimated to be around 22 million euros.
