Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot marked his 200th appearance for the club during the 3-2 victory over Frosinone at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin. However, his milestone celebration was short-lived as he was forced to leave the pitch after just 29 minutes due to a toe injury.
According to an official statement released by Juventus, Rabiot sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot, an injury that was described as particularly unpleasant.
In an unprecedented move, Rabiot took to Instagram to offer fans an intimate glimpse into his injury by sharing an X-Ray image of his toe. Accompanying the post, he expressed gratitude for the supportive messages from fans.
Rabiot wasn’t the only casualty for Juventus during the match, as teammate Weston McKennie also suffered an injury. McKennie dislocated his left shoulder following a sliding tackle.
The availability of both players for the upcoming match against Napoli remains uncertain, pending further assessment of their injuries.
Despite the setbacks, Juventus managed to salvage a victory after trailing 2-1 at home. Dusan Vlahovic’s brace leveled the score before Daniele Rugani secured the win with a last-minute goal from a challenging angle.
