According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan is reportedly considering the sale of Alexis Saelemaekers and Charles De Ketelaere during the upcoming summer transfer window, with anticipated earnings exceeding €30 million.
The printed edition of the newspaper, dated Wednesday and located on page six, outlines Milan’s transfer strategies for the upcoming summer transfer campaign.
In addition to the possibility of a key player departing at the conclusion of the season—namely Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, or Rafael Leao—Milan intends to bolster its transfer budget through the permanent sales of Saelemaekers and De Ketelaere.
According to La Gazzetta, Atalanta is poised to secure the permanent signing of Charles De Ketelaere for a fee of €22 million, supplemented by additional add-ons. The Belgian forward has showcased impressive form, tallying ten goals and seven assists in 29 appearances across various competitions this season, prompting Atalanta’s satisfaction with his contributions.
Conversely, Bologna remains undecided regarding the future of Alexis Saelemaekers, the compatriot of De Ketelaere, who has recently lost his starting position at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
The 24-year-old midfielder is reportedly no longer part of Milan’s plans, and Bologna retains an option to acquire him for approximately €10 million in June.
