According to a report by Sky Sport Italia, AC Milan has reportedly reached an early agreement to acquire Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid for a fee of less than €5 million.
Jimenez, a left-back who will turn 19 in May, is technically part of the Primavera youth team. However, he has already showcased his talent by making five appearances for the senior squad in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
Initially arriving on loan from Real Madrid with an option to buy for €5 million, AC Milan has opted not to wait until the end of the season. Instead, they have successfully negotiated an early purchase from Real Madrid for a fee slightly below the agreed €5 million.
While Real Madrid will retain a buy-back clause, it will be set at a higher figure than previously agreed upon. Originally set to expire in June 2026, it remains uncertain whether this clause will be extended.
Negotiations for the contract with Alex Jimenez are still pending, and AC Milan aims to finalize the deal after the Easter break.
