Liverpool’s fanbase is taken aback by the significant growth of Stefan Bajcetic’s calves, even though he hasn’t played since September.
Despite being a promising new talent for Liverpool and playing in 11 Premier League games last season, Bajcetic hasn’t been on the field this season due to an injury.
Before his injury, the young Spaniard played twice this season, once against Leicester in the League Cup and once against LASK in the Europa League.
Jurgen Klopp, the team’s manager, hinted that the 19-year-old might return to play before the season ends, discussing his recovery at a recent press conference.
Klopp gave an update on March 15: “Stefan is pretty much now in his pre-season to make him physically ready. So, in the moment he feels something, it’s not an injury, it’s intensity. He’s a young lad so we just have to make sure that we don’t use him before he is really ready because what happened before was that the body was not 100 percent ready for the intensity that professional football is asking for.
“He is much better, he is in a much better place now. He had a long time, unfortunately, to improve that but that’s where we now have to wait a little bit. But he is in his pre-season and I think he will be part of team training as well after the international break,” Klopp added.
One fan commented: “Someone never missed leg day damn!”
Another compared Bajetic to Jack Grealish: “This is bigger than Grealish’s yam legs, that’s like extra ball behind his leg.”
A third added: “Kloop said that Bajcetic was preparing himself physically, but he didn’t know that he was going to the point of almost inventing new muscles hahahahaha.”
A fourth fan commented: “This guys gonna be a beast grown taller and put on muscle he’s gonna be a proper DM.”
