Mamuka Jugeli, representing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, provided insights concerning the professional trajectory of the Napoli player amid speculation linking him with prominent football clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old Georgian winger’s performance has experienced fluctuations this season due to the unsettled environment at Partenopei. However, under the guidance of Francesco Calzona in recent weeks, he has displayed signs of resurgence, scoring three goals and assisting one in his last two matches. Throughout the current season, he has scored nine goals in 25 league appearances.
Kvaratskhelia remains under the terms of his initial contract with Napoli, which he entered upon his transfer from Dinamo Batumi in July 2022, making him one of the less remunerated players within the squad. Over the course of the season, several clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle, have expressed interest in recruiting him.
In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Jugeli exercised caution in discussing Kvaratskhelia’s future, abstaining from committing his client’s allegiance to Napoli amid interest from clubs across Europe.
“As for the future we are talking with the club, we will see what will happen. He will leave if another club presents an offer that the management cannot refuse.
“I can’t talk about a specific amount, these are De Laurentiis’s assessments. I protect Khvicha’s contract and work. Everything will be clear at the end of May.”
