Juventus is reportedly contemplating a managerial change as Max Allegri’s tenure may be approaching its conclusion for the second time. Despite the public support extended by the management towards the beleaguered coach, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via IlBianconero) suggests that a parting of ways at the culmination of the season is increasingly probable.
The current performance of the Bianconeri has been dismal, with only seven points garnered from the past eight fixtures. Although the team remains in the third position in the Serie A standings, the proximity of clubs such as Bologna and Roma poses a threat to their Champions League qualification prospects.
Consequently, notwithstanding Allegri’s existing contract for another year, Juventus might opt for a managerial transition during the summer. In such an eventuality, three promising coaches within the Italian top flight are reportedly under consideration.
Thiago Motta emerges as the primary candidate, garnering attention for his impressive performance with Bologna, steering them towards a potential UEFA Champions League qualification through his innovative style of play. Vincenzo Italiano, whose tenure at Fiorentina is set to conclude at the season’s end, is also under consideration.
Moreover, Raffaele Palladino of Monza, a former Juventus player, is being linked with a return to Turin. Palladino, aged 39, has been displaying commendable coaching acumen with the Biancorossi, even securing a memorable victory in his debut Serie A match against Juventus last season.
