La Liga president Javier Tebas expressed his belief to COPE that Kylian Mbappe has likely already inked a deal with Real Madrid.
Mbappe, 25, is nearing the end of his contract with PSG, and he has communicated his intention to leave the French club once it expires at the season’s end. PSG’s manager, Luis Enrique, recently hinted at Mbappe’s impending departure during the weekend, suggesting the club has come to terms with the situation.
Mbappe may have already signed with Real Madrid, says Tebas
Now, La Liga president Tebas, commenting on the Mbappe to Real Madrid speculations, has claimed that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner may have already signed for the Spanish capital club.
“I have the feeling that Mbappé has signed for Real Madrid,” Tebas told COPE.
“Financially, they are very reactive. At the moment, their financial results are very good and they can spend much more than they spend. Madrid have been very prudent financially and have prepared for the signing of Mbappe,” he had said.
“Their strategy is not short-term. They don’t have to sell anyone to afford Mbappe. They really don’t.”
