Beauty queen Danielle Lloyd has revealed an unforgettable encounter involving David Beckham. During a recent podcast appearance, former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd disclosed an incident where she narrowly avoided being hit by David Beckham’s car in the midst of heavy rain. However, the 40-year-old beauty admitted fault, attributing the incident to her own carelessness. Consequently, Danielle felt “awkward and embarrassed” upon being inquired about her well-being by the former English football star.
“I nearly got hit by David Beckham once. It’s a somewhat amusing story but also one that made me feel embarrassed,” the beauty revealed.
“I remember it was pouring rain heavily at the time. I was trying to cross the road quickly without paying close attention. Thankfully, he didn’t hit me. He rolled down his car window and asked, ‘Are you okay?’ I couldn’t find the words when I realized it was David Beckham. I felt really embarrassed receiving his concern. I remember the rain was heavy, but his face was still shining brightly,” she recounted.
Subsequently, David Beckham departed. Danielle mentioned that the incident occurred some time ago, at which point Beckham and Victoria had become a couple. Additionally, during the sharing session, Danielle confessed her admiration for the documentary film “David Beckham,” released last year. The beauty was particularly impressed by Victoria.
“Victoria has done really well alongside Beckham. In that film, I saw a different aspect of Victoria, one that I really liked,” Danielle stated.
Danielle Lloyd was crowned Miss Great Britain in 2004 and participated in the Miss World competition. However, in 2006, she was stripped of her title after posing for provocative photos for Playboy magazine. In the past, Danielle was known for her romantic involvement with footballers. She was rumored to have dated several players including Teddy Sheringham, Marcus Bent, and Jermain Defoe.
In 2012, she married footballer Jamie O’Hara, but the marriage lasted only over two years. In 2019, she married electrical engineer Michael O’Neill. By now, the couple has two adorable children together. Prior to this, Danielle had three children with her ex-husband Jamie. In an interview, Danielle expressed enthusiasm for the prospect of having a sixth child.
