Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has expressed his confidence in captain Bruno Fernandes’ commitment to the club.
In response to an interview Fernandes gave to DAZN last week, where he seemed to raise doubts about his future at Old Trafford, Ten Hag stated that the quotes were taken out of context.
He firmly believes that Fernandes, who is under contract until 2026, will fulfill his current deal without a doubt.

Ten Hag emphasized that Fernandes is fully dedicated to Manchester United and is happy to be a part of the team. Despite criticism of Fernandes’ captaincy, Ten Hag has consistently defended him.
He believes that Fernandes leads by example, even playing through pain as he may have to do in the upcoming match against Crystal Palace after missing training due to a wrist injury.
The Dutchman praised Fernandes for his sense of responsibility and described him as a true fighter who always delivers and brings energy to the team.
