Danny Dyer dismissed claims that Bukayo Saka is better than Jarrod Bowen, dismissing them as a misconception.
Saka has been showcasing his talent for Arsenal this season as they aim for their first league title in two decades.
Meanwhile, Bowen has been a key player for West Ham as they push for success in the Europa League and a top six finish in the Premier League.
Although Saka is expected to represent England in Euro 2024, Bowen is also in contention for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s squad.
Dyer, who is the father of Bowen’s partner Dani and grandfather to their children, praised Bowen’s contributions and believes he deserves a place in the squad for the upcoming tournament in Germany.
He must be on the plane. I may have a biased opinion, but I believe he is just as talented as Saka in that position. He possesses all of Saka’s qualities, and in fact, he may even be stronger than him.
In my view, he is exceptional with the ball, has excellent finishing skills, and can excel in any forward position, which I don’t believe Saka can do.
Personally, I believe the notion that Saka is superior is a misconception. Jarrod’s decision-making on the field is extraordinary, and he rarely makes mistakes.
He is an incredibly dependable player, and when it comes to one-on-one situations, there is no one better than him.
