The attention of the general public is currently focused on Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese star participates in what is purported to be an unprecedented large-scale entertainment project.
Good news abounds for Cristiano Ronaldo. “Like father, like son,” Cristiano Jr, the eldest son of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, recently raised a championship cup at the U13 Saudi Arabia tournament. Even more impressively, Cristiano Jr and his teammates at U13 Al Nassr clinched the championship title in the U13 Saudi Arabia tournament three rounds ahead of schedule. It is noteworthy that Cristiano Jr signed a contract with Al Nassr last October and regularly participates in matches with the U13 Al Nassr team.
On social media, Ronaldo made a post referring to Cristiano Jr and his teammates’ championship cup at U13 Al Nassr. “Congratulations to the entire team,” CR7 wrote on social media. Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez left a heart and crown emoji in the comments section of the post by the Portuguese star.
The name Ronaldo continues to attract special attention from the general public, especially fervent fans of Al Nassr, as he participates in what is believed to be an unprecedented entertainment project in Saudi Arabia. Most recently, Turki Al-Sheikh, the owner of Almeria FC and concurrently the Minister of General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in Saudi Arabia, posted a photo with Ronaldo and some renowned fighters such as Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Francis Ngannou. Alongside the photo, Al-Sheikh enthusiastically wrote: “With my dear friends, the world’s best athletes in their respective sports, let’s look forward to some major surprises coming soon. A groundbreaking entertainment project in Riyadh will be announced in the coming months. And I am looking forward to the tremendous impact it will bring.”
It is worth mentioning that the GEA was established by the Saudi Arabian government in 2016, with the aim of managing the entertainment industry of this oil-rich nation. Al-Sheikh himself is described as a politician with many unique ideas. Since Al-Sheikh took office as the head of GEA, numerous entertainment events have been organized in Saudi Arabia. It is noteworthy that these entertainment events, which would have been unimaginable just a decade ago, are now taking place in Saudi Arabia, a country with strict regulations for adherents of the Islamic faith.
In addition to promoting the unprecedented entertainment project, Al-Sheikh is also the brainchild behind the idea of opening a museum dedicated to Ronaldo in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. This museum was inaugurated at the end of October last year, showcasing key moments in Ronaldo’s career, as well as replicas of the championship titles the star has won throughout his career. At the entrance of the museum, there is a statue of the Portuguese star wearing an Al Nassr jersey for visitors to take commemorative photos. On Instagram, Ronaldo enthusiastically posted a video of himself touring inside the museum with his brother Hugo Aveiro, accompanied by the caption: “This is my story, my CR7 museum is now open in Riyadh.”
According to some sources, the GEA has expressed the possibility of inviting Argentine star Lionel Messi to participate in the entertainment project. It is noteworthy that Messi, the forward for Inter Miami, currently serves as a tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia.
