Barcelona is purportedly poised to extend an offer of a two-year contract to Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. Journalist Ekrem Konur, reporting through X, formerly known as Twitter, asserts that Barcelona is in the process of drafting a proposal for a two-year contract aimed at securing the services of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. The offer, as outlined in the report, includes an option for further extension for an additional campaign.
Adrien Rabiot’s existing contract with Juventus, which is set to expire in June 2024, positions him as a free agent available to engage in pre-contract negotiations with any interested club for a potential transfer during the upcoming summer window. Despite this, Juventus expresses a desire to retain the services of the French international, prompting forthcoming discussions with Rabiot’s representatives.
Previously, Rabiot was on the verge of a move to Barcelona in 2019, yet he ultimately joined Juventus on a free transfer from PSG. During his tenure with the Serie A side, the 28-year-old has amassed a tally of 21 goals across 200 appearances. Notably, Rabiot inked a one-year contract extension last summer after an impressive performance, registering 11 goals in 48 matches during the 2022-23 season.
