A recent publication unveiled an intriguing ranking assessing the attractiveness of Premier League managers, wherein renowned figures such as Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp were surpassed by the Luton head coach.
Arteta, Klopp Fall Short in Handsomeness Compared to Obscure Manager
The Sun utilized an artificial intelligence software named AttractivenessTest to evaluate the allure of Premier League managers. The results positioned Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, second, while both Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Mauricio Pochettino (Chelsea), and Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham) failed to make it into the top ten.
Tenth place was secured by Sean Dyche with a score of 5.75 out of 10. The 52-year-old Everton manager surpassed Eddie Howe of Newcastle to claim a spot in the upper half of the list. Erik ten Hag of Manchester United clinched ninth place. He is the oldest manager to feature in the top ten, aged 54. Above him were managers Vincent Kompany (37), Nuno Espirito Santo (50), Marco Silva (46), and Thomas Frank (50).
Pep Guardiola of Manchester City’s fourth-place ranking in attractiveness came as a surprise. At 53, he is one of the eldest managers within the top ten. The top three spots in this ranking are occupied by notably younger individuals. Wolves’ manager, Gary O’Neil, claimed third place with a rating of 7.2 out of 10. Mikel Arteta followed closely in second place with a score of 8.13.
At the pinnacle stands Rob Edwards (41), the manager of Luton. Earlier in the season, he gained prominence on TikTok for his handsome appearance in an interview video. The video garnered up to 14 million views and received numerous praises from female admirers. Edwards’ position as the most attractive Premier League manager was solidified with an AI-assigned score of 8.39.
Among the remaining managers of the Big Six, Klopp placed 14th, while Pochettino and Postecoglou ranked 17th and 18th, respectively.
