The Brazilian forward Theo Dario AS took advantage of the opportunity to “mock” the French player.
The transfer of Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last summer sparked considerable discussion; however, as of present, this period has not proven to be overly successful for the 26-year-old forward in the capital of France.
Dembele has somewhat impressed with his style of play. He has also endeavored to avoid injuries, a feat seemingly elusive during his time in Catalonia. However, the main issue for the French striker is his goal-scoring ability. In 28 appearances across all competitions, he has only managed to score a solitary goal.
On Instagram, an account posted information suggesting that Neymar, who departed PSG last summer to join Al-Hilal, has scored more goals (2) than Dembele for the team in Ligue 1 this season. The Brazilian player took the opportunity to respond to this statistic with a laugh, as reported by Diario AS.
It comes as no surprise that Neymar’s goals came during the friendly match against Jeonbuk Motors back in August. Nevertheless, it is a statistic that Dembele hopes to rectify in the coming weeks.
