According to Fabrizio Romano, sources close to Paris Saint-Germain have refuted claims that the club will present a new contract offer to Kylian Mbappé (25) during today’s meeting with the Emir of Qatar.
The agenda for the meeting will not involve discussions about Mbappé’s future at the club, as it is understood that the player has already communicated his desire to depart at the conclusion of the current season, with negotiations reportedly advancing with Real Madrid.
Earlier reports suggested that Mbappé conveyed to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in a meeting that no financial offer would persuade him to extend his tenure in his hometown. He is adamant about joining the Spanish giants, believing they align better with his personal and professional objectives.
At the conclusion of the season, Mbappé will depart PSG as their all-time leading goal-scorer. Barring any unforeseen developments, he will leave as the player who propelled the club to their closest brush with Champions League glory, notably reaching the final in 2020.
