Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie’s return to play remains uncertain following injuries sustained during Juventus’ recent match against Frosinone, as reported by Football Italia.
Rabiot, the French midfielder, was forced off the pitch in the first half due to an ankle injury, while McKennie, his American counterpart, suffered a dislocated left shoulder during the second half of the same encounter.
Sources reveal that both players underwent medical examinations on Monday morning, confirming Rabiot’s ankle dislocation and McKennie’s shoulder dislocation.
Consequently, they are expected to be unavailable for Juventus’ forthcoming away fixture against Napoli on Sunday. The club’s medical staff will conduct further assessments in the coming days to determine their recovery timelines.
McKennie’s contributions have been notable in Serie A this season, tallying five assists, including two in the match against Frosinone. Tuttosport commended his performance on Monday, dubbing him the ‘King of Assists’. McKennie’s contract with Juventus is scheduled to expire in June 2025.
Meanwhile, Rabiot has recorded four goals and three assists in 23 appearances across all competitions this season. His current contract with Juventus is also set to conclude in June.
