Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was not happy after seeing Ryan Gravenberch stretchered off during the Carabao Cup final following a bruising tackle from Moises Caicedo
Mohamed Salah appeared visibly dismayed as Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp criticized the referee’s handling of an incident involving Ryan Gravenberch during the Carabao Cup final. Salah, the Egyptian forward, was sidelined for the match due to yet another injury. The incident in question occurred when Gravenberch, following a heavy challenge from Moises Caicedo, required assistance leaving the field.
The Chelsea player received a stern warning from the referee, much to the dismay of Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool. Mohamed Salah, visibly frustrated, voiced his displeasure from the sidelines and engaged in conversation with his injured teammates.
Salah was observed shaking his head in disbelief. Although Liverpool protested vehemently against Caicedo’s challenge, former Premier League referee Mike Dean assessed it as not constituting serious foul play, thus ruling out the possibility of a sending-off.
