Chelsea are reportedly interested in Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners and have been monitoring his performance. According to Sportmediaset, the club is now preparing a substantial €60m offer for the talented Dutch midfielder.
Koopmeiners has been in impressive form this season, scoring 13 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions.
Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing the Dutch midfielder, who has caught the attention of various Italian and European clubs.
Juventus, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United are among the teams linked with the 26-year-old player. According to Italian broadcasters, Chelsea is also in the running to secure his services.
Chelsea’s scouts observed Koopmeiners during Atalanta’s recent victory over Liverpool in the Europa League quarter-finals. Despite his contract with Atalanta expiring in June 2027, Koopmeiners announced his decision to depart the club at the end of the current season.
Italian media sources suggest that Juventus is keen on making Koopmeiners their main midfield target for the 2024-25 season. With 27 goals and 12 assists in 116 appearances for Atalanta, Koopmeiners has proven to be a valuable asset on the field.
