If the deal between Bernardo Silva and Barcelona goes through, Joao Felix claims that he has been so persuasive in convincing Silva to join the club that he will request a commission for his efforts.
Silva, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona for some time now, has shown a keen interest in the team according to Felix, his Portugal teammate. Despite other potential suitors such as Benfica, Silva seems particularly drawn to the prospect of playing for Barcelona.
“If Bernardo Silva comes, I’m going to ask for a commission,” he joked to Catalunya Radio. “Everything I have said is true and if he comes they will be delighted with him.
He added: “He is very careful with everything and he asked me about places to live, places to eat, about security… He asked me a little about everything and I said about tax issues because that’s what came to mind.”
Felix was questioned about whether he had persuaded his fellow countryman to relocate, to which he responded, “I believe so, I believe so. However, I don’t believe it is solely up to him now.” Due to Barcelona’s financial difficulties, it may be unfeasible for the City player to make the transfer this summer.
Nevertheless, he will strive to guide his team to victory in the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup once more this season.
