Despite Salah’s substitution Alexis Mac Allister quickly restored Liverpool’s lead with a powerful strike from outside the box, sending Anfield into a frenzy with less than 15 minutes remaining. The Argentine had another opportunity to score from a free-kick, but his impressive effort hit the woodwork.
