Reports suggest that Antonio Conte may join Napoli in Serie A next season, potentially reuniting with a current Tottenham Hotspur player. Conte left Spurs at the end of last season after finishing fourth in the Premier League.
Despite not winning any trophies during his time at the club, his successor Ange Postecoglou has brought a more entertaining style of play to North London.
Conte has been linked with various clubs across Europe and the Middle East, but a return to Serie A with Napoli seems to be a possibility for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.
After Luciano Spalletti’s departure, Napoli has struggled this season with different managers at the helm.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is making efforts to bring Conte back to coaching, with Italian outlet Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (via Tuttomercatoweb) suggesting that he is ‘targeting’ Dejan Kulusevki in order to ‘satisfy’ the esteemed head coach.
Conte and Kulusevski have previously collaborated at Juventus, and the Swedish international moved to Spurs on loan during the January 2022 transfer window.
Kulusevski’s transfer to Tottenham was later finalized, and he has made a positive impact in the Premier League this season, registering six goals and three assists in his 28 league appearances so far.
