According to senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke, West Ham will need to pay more than £60 million to secure the services of Everton midfielder Amadou Onana this summer.
O’Rourke also mentioned that Everton believes Onana’s value has doubled since his arrival from Lille in August 2022. It was reported last month that West Ham is once again interested in signing Onana during the upcoming transfer window.
In 2022, West Ham was initially favored to sign the Belgian international, but the deal fell through, and he joined Everton instead. As West Ham looks for a new midfielder for the upcoming season, their loan signing Kalvin Phillips is not expected to have his move made permanent.
