Liverpool’s attacking midfielder, Fabio Carvalho, has exhibited commendable performance during his loan spell at Hull City in the latter half of the ongoing season. Speculation has arisen regarding the possibility of his permanent stay at the club. However, Fabrizio Romano has addressed this conjecture, emphasizing that no definitive decision has been made at present due to the prevailing uncertainties.
In an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his latest Daily Briefing column, Romano elucidated that Hull City has not had sufficient time to evaluate Carvalho’s long-term prospects. Additionally, Liverpool’s focus lies on appointing a new sporting director and manager before deliberating on the future of Carvalho and other players.
Having faced challenges such as limited playing time at Liverpool and an abbreviated loan spell at RB Leipzig earlier in the season, Carvalho is striving to regain his form. Nevertheless, Romano suggests that discussions regarding a permanent transfer to Hull City are premature.
